MEET the Owner and Provider, Melissa “Missy” Coefield-Capps

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 30 years experience in the medical profession. I received my NP license in 2008 from the University of Alabama @Birmingham. My experience includes primary care, urgent care and emergency medicine. I also have experience in weight management, previously working for the corporation, Medi Weight Loss.

My passion for wellness began with my own journey. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have spent years caring for patients and listening to the concerns that affect so many people every day- fatigue, inflammation, brain fog, low energy, stress, depression, insomnia, hormone imbalances, and simply not feeling their best.

With those concerns in mind, I created Heflin Infusion & Tanning as a place where wellness, beauty, and self-care come together under one roof. Through extensive research and clinical experience, I developed our signature IV therapy drip and injection options to help support hydration, energy, recovery, immune health, and overall wellness.

In addition to IV therapy and wellness injections, we offer red light therapy and tanning services designed to help you look and feel your best. We are also proud to offer esthetic services through my daughter, a licensed esthetician, who shares my passion for helping others build confidence and practice self-care (Luxe Spa by Kaci).

My goal has always been to provide a welcoming environment where clients can focus on both feeling good and looking good. Whether you are seeking a wellness boost, relaxation, skin care services, or simply time to invest in yourself, we are here to help.

We also be offer telehealth services, providing patients with a convenient access to quality healthcare and a direct line to me for many common healthcare needs.
